Our Services
Thrive Therapy Co. is a paediatric occupational therapy service located in the Limestone Coast of South Australia. We operate from the consulting suites at Wulanda Recreation Centre in Mount Gambier, and also provide virtual therapy and mobile services within the community.
We currently see children aged 0 - 10 years and use an individualised, family-centred approach to support children and families in achieving their goals and improving everyday quality of life.
Paediatric Occupational Therapists help children with:
Everyday independence (dressing, eating, toileting)
Fine & gross motor skills (handwriting, coordination, balance)
Nervous system regulation and attention
For support with social skills, emotional regulation, and play, we encourage families to connect with a local social worker or psychologist.

Ongoing therapy is available through our waitlist for children aged 10 and under
One-off assessments and reports are available for children under the age of 6 (book online)
Our team partners with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure therapy is practical, supportive, and meaningful across home, school, and community settings

Initial Occupational Therapy Assessment
1.5 hours in duration + 20 minutes non-face to face time for medical record documentation

One-off Occupational Therapy Assessment & Report (under 6s)
1.5 hours in duration + 55 minutes non-face to face time for completion of report

*50% to be paid at time of booking and remaining 50% to be paid within 7 days of assessment, prior to report being sent.
Occupational Therapy Session - 55 minutes
55 minutes in duration + 20 minutes non-face to face time for medical record documentation

Parent Coaching Phone Consultation - 30 minutes
30 minutes in duration + 15 minutes non-face to face time for medical record documentation

Non-face to face Services Billed by the Hour
All therapist time is billed by the hour. This includes writing reports, responding to emails, phone calls, completing forms, assessment scoring and interpretation.
Hourly rate - $193.99
Travel to Deliver Offsite Services
Labour Cost - Time
50% of therapist hourly rate. Therefore, if the round trip is 20 minutes total = $32.33 (OT rate).
Non Labour Cost
$1.00 per km.
Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Session (Occupational Therapy) - 45 minutes
45 minutes in duration + 15 minutes non-face to face time for medical record documentation (AHA).

+ 5 minutes revision of session documentation and session planning by overseeing occupational therapist (non-negotiable - all allied health assistants work under the supervision of an overseeing therapist).

Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees are charged at the rate of 100% of the scheduled appointment fee if cancellations are made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
