About Us

Jacqueline Oberer - Occupational Therapist & Director

Jacqueline is an occupational therapist, business owner, and mother who understands firsthand the juggle of raising a family while trying to access meaningful support. She founded Thrive Therapy Co. in Mount Gambier to offer practical, evidence-informed services that meet families where they're at, without the overwhelm.

With a Master of Occupational Therapy and years of experience working with neurodivergent children, Jacqueline brings a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach to her work. She believes therapy should feel safe, achievable, and grounded in real life, not just worksheets and one-size-fits-all strategies.

At Thrive, Jacqueline supports children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences, always working in partnership with parents to build skills that matter most at home, school, and in the community.

Outside of therapy, Jacqueline is often developing resources for her team, working on collaborative projects with local services, or chasing after her toddler and two dogs. She’s passionate about building a sustainable therapy model for regional families that puts relationships first and keeps children at the heart of the work.
